Modular Analogue Regulator: RG400 Series
The RG400 series comprises two types of analogue controller for regulating the speed of generators:
RG492: Speed controller for a generator. Used on its own for a single islanded generator or in conjunction with an RG482 (for parallel operation with a utility supply) and / or other RG492 controllers (for parallel operation with other generators)
RG482: Load management and synchronisation controller. Generates an error signal which is sent to one or more RG492 units to manage the disconnection or reconnection of generators with a utility power supply. Also manages active power exchange between a utility and generator; or load sharing between generators.
