Directional Earth Fault NPIHD800 / NPIHD800R
The NPIHD800 / NPIHD800R relays protect three-phase electrical networks against phase to earth faults.
These relays are the same as the NPIH800 / NPIH800R but with the option of directional earth fault protection. N.B. Earth fault protection can be forward for all elements, reverse for all elements or non-directional for all elements. These relays do not permit a combination of directional and non-directional earth fault protection settings
If your system is un-earthed or features a very high impedance earth you may wish to consider the more sensitive earth fault relay NPIHD800-S1.
